The West Carter High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation will empower, inspire, develop and financially support students who dream of continuing their education via collegiate and post-secondary, vocational institutions.
Who We Are
The West Carter High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on providing scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing continuing education in college and in post-secondary, vocational institutions.

2026 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
At the annual West Carter High School awards ceremony on May 19, 2026, we announced this year’s WCHS Alumni Scholarship Foundation recipients.
This year’s winners were (l to r) Laci Richards, Jaci Cooley, Holly Adams, Aubrey Cox, Alivia Waggoner, and Tabor Tackett (not pictured), bringing the total number of scholarships awarded since the foundation’s founding in 2016 to 50!
On July 11, 2026, the foundation and Giovanni’s Pizza of Olive Hill KY hosted a celebratory dinner for our scholarship winners (and families) to commemorate their accomplishments and to convey our best wishes for their continued academic journey.
